Thanksgiving is the time of year to gather with family and friends, taking the time to reflect on the year and count the big, along with the small, blessings that have occurred. It’s the time of year we slow down, to be in the present moment and turn our eyes onto what is most important. When we see our lives through the lens of gratitude and take the time to appreciate all that has been put before us, this is when we take on the belief that everything in life that has happened has served us to grow and evolve to who we are in this moment. Gratitude is the cure to anger- you can’t be angry and grateful at the same time, so as we sit around the table this Thanksgiving may we be aware of all there is to grateful for. May you you find a way to focus and appreciate the miracles that occur in the life you live.
One of my favorite quotes, that keeps me walking towards being grateful:
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” ~ Melody Beattie
Here are a few prayers:
I pray for all to find in their hearts unconditional love. May we realize that life is a gift full of abundance, with many choices and opportunities to grow into who we are meant to be.
I pray that each of us finds our superpowers and unleash our genius, experiences and happiness while consciously making a contributes to our destiny.
I pray of a world in which all humans, may find a way to look each other in the eye and see and feel the beauty of unconditional love, not just for themselves, but for others too.
I pray of a world in which this love empowers all beings to step fully into who they are suppose to be.
I pray that each of us follow the path of the unknown without fear, but with faith.
I pray for us to step out of our own way and the shadows we have created. Giving room to dig deep into self-love.
I pray that we own our life 100% with responsibility and to always find a way to forgive the ones that have hurt us in the past while letting go of judgment .
I pray that within each we can be the change the world needs.
I pray that we realize by helping ourselves, gives us strength to heal within our hearts.
Blessings, they are all around us, you just need to become more aware of them. It is so easy to lose focus on what you do have and start dwelling on what you lack. You don’t have to be religious or even spiritual to believe in the power of being thankful. A simple “Thank-you” everyday is a way to be blessed and full of gratitude.
